Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the dev.log website, app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by App Tube d.o.o., reg. no. 21806480, a company registered in Novi Sad, Serbia ("dev.log", "we", "us", or "our"). You can reach us at support@getdevlog.app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Waitlist & beta nature
dev.log is being built in the open. Some features described on our site are planned or in development and may change, be delayed, or not ship. The waitlist is an expression of interest and does not guarantee access, pricing, or a launch date.
4. Your account
When accounts become available, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@getdevlog.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Subscriptions, billing & refunds
- Free plan — dev.log offers a Free plan with no charge.
- Pro — a paid subscription billed monthly or annually at the prices shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Founding member — a one-time payment that includes a defined period of Pro access and the benefits described at purchase.
Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), our payment provider and merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to Creem's applicable terms. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you retain access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@getdevlog.app and we'll work it out. Consumers in the EU may have statutory withdrawal rights.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe others' rights when using the Service;
- upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as permitted by law;
- use the Service to store or share content you have no right to, or that is unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
7. Your content
Your log entries and other content you create are yours. You retain all rights to them. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including syncing it and, for Pro AI features you choose to use, sending the relevant text to our AI provider to generate your entries or recaps). We do not sell your content and we do not use your private logs to train our own models. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the dev.log name and logo, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any right to use our branding without our written permission.
9. AI features
Pro AI features (such as AI logging and recaps) generate output automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided to assist you, not to replace your own judgment. You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it.
10. Availability & "as is"
We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any feature will always be available. This is especially true during early/beta stages.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, dev.log and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. content ownership, IP, liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Serbia will have jurisdiction over any disputes, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.
